Finish Department Supervisor ($30.00 per hour):

This position is in the Midwest and requires relocation.  Position pays $30.00 per hour plus benefits and relocation.  Living costs are well below the national average. Employer wants a serious self-starter that has experience managing people as well as processes in the field of architectural millwork.  This is one of the oldest and most well respected AWI member companies in our industry.  Nice small town setting.  Please do not apply unless you have verifiable experience as a finish lead or supervisor, and know all types of wood finishes. 

Architectural Millwork Drafting Engineer ($80,000.00 per year):

Position is in eastern part of the country in a nice small town area.  Living costs are low compared to most of the east coast.  Nice relocation package is provided.  Candidate will be responsible for: 

Designing products using computer-aided design software applications such as AutoCAD/Inventor.  
Design products, creates and tests prototypes. 
Work with Manufacturing VP to develop and manufacture products. 
Analyze, design and build business/technical solutions that deliver the client’s goal. 
Create detailed design documentation/bill of materials. 
Define, create and maintain development methodologies, procedures and standards. 
Create drawings in both 2 and 3-dimensional form. 
Design floor plans, elevations, and realistic renderings with the help of software. 
Create designs for store fixtures in the retail market. 
Aid in the selection of materials/hardware specifications. 
Produce final design specifications/cut bills  

Must have a sound knowledge of drafting design principles, good numeracy and computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).  Also, must have good communication skills, knowledge of material properties, manufacturing processes and construction methods. Should be used to solving problems and meeting deadlines. Client would like a person with a minimum of 3 years experience with Inventor and AutoCAD Solid Modeling.   

 

Estimator in Architectural Millwork ($75,000.00 per year): 

This is a great position with a quality company in the southern part of the USA.  Company is looking for an experienced estimator in high end architectural millwork.   A strong understanding of Microsoft Office is required.  The ability to quickly estimate is paramount.

Architectural Millwork Engineering Manager ($75,000.00 per year:

Midwest area with high salary, excellent benefits and relocation provided.  Client wants a leader for this position.  Prefer someone who has first worked in the shop and then raised him/her self up by learning the engineering side of our industry.  This client is demanding but has a stable work environment with very little turnover.  

Production Manager ($100,000.00 per year): 

This key position in the company requires a leader who can easily manage the shop floor of 70 men. Client requires a minimum of 10 years experience in a shop as a lead, then a department head, then the production manager for the entire shop floor.  Position requires a good working knowledge of CNC equipment, edge banders, finishing processes, and assembly of very high end architectural millwork.  This is a TCI company, and it is preferred that the successful applicant be knowledgeable of the process of Total Company Integration. Position pays 6 figures.    

Drafter ($25/hour):

The successful candidate must have the ability to do the following:
Read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings and specification documents, quickly and accurately complete shop drawings in AutoCad, must have knowledge of Cabinet Vision software, understand estimating and production as they relate to shop drawings, material yield, and labor.  The AutoCad Drafter/Programmer will identify possible problems with designs and construction and communicate with necessary departments, c
reate cut lists, bill of materials, packing lists, and any other documentation needed to complete a production packet, and be familiar with cabinet construction and drawing requirements to adhere to the industry's governing bodies (AWI, QCP, LEED, FSC, etc.)  (Experience with Stiles Equipment (TLF), LabelIT, CutRite a PLUS). Relocation assistance available for the right candidate. 

Engineering Manager ($80,000.00 per year):

The successful candidate must have the ability to do the following:
Must have department management experience. As well, able to read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings and specification documents, quickly and accurately complete shop drawings in AutoCad, must have knowledge of Cabinet Vision software, understand estimating and production as they relate to shop drawings, material yield, and labor.  The AutoCad Drafter/Programmer will identify possible problems with designs and construction and communicate with necessary departments, c
